Isha Mullapudi

Founder - Editor-In-Chief

Isha Mullapudi is a South Florida-based obsessive reader addicted to writing, her 0.7 black ink Muji pens, and Donna Tartt. When she is not scribbling away in random notebooks, reading with terrible posture on her much-loved bed, performing her endless skincare routine, or chattering about her dream to live in London, you can find her at the ice skating rink or working on her literary + art magazine, The Looking Glass Review. Isha draws her inspiration and adores delving into literature by her favorite writers, such as Donna Tartt, Fyodor Dostoevsky, Albert Camus, Ocean Vuong, Sylvia Plath, and naturally many more. Isha enjoys Greek mythology, and stories, and lately has been loving photography. A few of her favorite films (due to her slightly pretentious nature she uses the word film rather than movie) are La La Land and Inception. She has been published in the Journalist Review and has work forthcoming in the Petrichor Gazette. Always feel free to reach out to her through her email, ishamullapudi17@gmail.com, or DM her on her Instagram, @ishamullapudi.

August Mack

Staff Artist

August Mack is an Appalachian-based artist, writer, and zine maker. He likes baking, quilting, embroidery, and visible mending and is sure to pick up more hobbies in the future. He has had his artwork published in the Celebrating Art Anthology, as well as the Storyboard comics anthology zine. He has also self-published many of his own zines at local record shops. August writes mainly fantasy, horror, and realistic fiction, all centered in a realistic modern setting. He loves exploring the beauty in the mundane through art and writing. He is particularly interested in queer history, Appalachian culture, and how art and writing intersect there. While he doesn't shy away from heavier topics, he likes to keep the tone light when possible, appreciating community, good coffee, and all the other everyday joys in life. You can reach August by email at @author.a.mack, and find his work on his Instagram, @ches_in_wonderland.

Sophia Sokurec

Co-founder - General Editor & Manager

Sophia (she/her) is a Florida-based full-time reading addict and Swiftie, who adores attempting to romanticize the seasons and school. She has attended the Cambridge Youth Leadership Academy and has a non-profit, The Bookshelf Organization, which donates books to students with the goal of providing excitement and education around/about literature. Sophia loves to surround herself with good energy (yes she will ask for people’s zodiac signs) and her very best friends. After an extensive, quality everything shower, draped warm pj’s, wrapped tightly in her covers, three different beverages scattered on her nightstand, snuggled up with a good book or show, THAT is Sophia’s definition of absolute perfection. Take a look at her on her YouTube, @sophia.andrea, where she practices and publishes her vlogs and content creator skills. To contact her, you can do so via her email, sophia.sokurec@gmail.com, or her Instagram, @sophia.sokurec

She aspires to build a career where she can help people better understand themselves and those around them. She actively immerses herself in internships, to keep herself constantly challenged and evolving. Beyond academics, she loves capturing the beauty of life through her lens. Whether it's the subtle expressions of people, the allure of different places, or the warmth of love, her photographs reflect a genuine connection to the world around her. She believes it to be a heartfelt expression that has become an inseparable part of her life.
